Great Work Phil. Really Good on the realism, I think it coulda done without the swan though IMO, its beautifully painted and drawn, but It sticks out too much.. But thats just me.

Thanks everyone for the great feedback!.. On the question of how the image was created and the use of photography..It's really a combination of 3D and 2D, much of the textures originate from the 3D portion of the images creation.. Additional textures were added using a few texture libraries I have lying around as well as some custom brushes. The trees were mostly Painter Nozzles as well as some photo reference and painting.
