Oboy, every silver lining has a cloud.... First, it looks like much effort went into this dreamscape. Well done. Second, at first view felt like I'd seen it before (I do NOT mean rip-off in any way) This artwork is an amalgamation of various concepts, not the least of which recalls Middle-Earth. Cruxet: the middle earth reference wasn't intentional but, I guess the color and the red glowing lights have a very LOTR feel to them. hmm hmm..I actually thought I already commented on this - ah well.. I can't stop trying to make out all the different color tints in the sky and I just wish I was braver with my colors. I also had to admit I really love full black in a painting (even though tons and tons of books and teachers tell you not to use it). It still creates the most atmospheric and dramatically effects if used right. Full vote from me as well

Kyena: Yes, I to battle with the old black rule. Truth is, the best way to use black is to create the illusion of it without actually using it and to control it with temperature, either cool or warm. Don't be afraid of your colors..that have power in them

Great sense of menace and darkness, right on back to the horizon. The main structure and surrounding smokestacks (?) show a consistent architectural sense that is at once graceful and twisted -- almost as if the place itself was once not so dark. The birds descending provide a marvelously hopeful note without overwhelming the atmosphere of brooding evil below. Marvelous execution, well worth seeing in full view. I cannot imagine how much more detail there is in your original. Well done!
