Description
Another painting from my book project. I've really been trying to hold off posting too many images from the book until it is nearly complete. However, this painting just really wanted to be seen.Mostly Photoshop and Painter.
Please check out the large version so you can see the details I spent way to much time painting.
Enjoy

+10
I noticed your stick birds in the background upon a second look. I'd still give it +10, even though I'm not wild about them. The foreground birds more than make up for the cartoony ones.

First, it looks like much effort went into this dreamscape. Well done.
Second, at first view felt like I'd seen it before (I do NOT mean rip-off
in any way) This artwork is an amalgamation of various concepts,
not the least of which recalls Middle-Earth.
Please correct me if I'm mistaken.

I can't stop trying to make out all the different color tints in the sky and I just wish I was braver with my colors. I also had to admit I really love full black in a painting (even though tons and tons of books and teachers tell you not to use it). It still creates the most atmospheric and dramatically effects if used right.
Full vote from me as well
